Thrive Naturopathic is Regina’s Health Optimization Centre, serving people who know their body is capable of more. Our naturopathic doctors focus in working with patients with cancer, those dealing with chronic and complex health issues, and those looking to explore all avenues to maximum health (AKA: biohackers).
Mission & Vision
Our Values
-
We apply this to our individual practices, our business, how we help patients make decisions, and how we balance optimization and sustainability.
-
We acknowledge that good solutions must be lasting, feasible, and practical, providing balance to optimization by remaining grounded in the reality of sustainability.
-
While we recognize perfection is impossible, we always aim for the best possible options for each patient.
-
We are committed to learning and improving, always looking for sustainable ways to advance our offerings, skills, and practices.
-
We embrace and encourage responsibility for our own health and the impact we have.
How We Thrive
What do we mean when we say we want our patients to Thrive? It’s about more than just our bodies or even our physical health; it’s about how we live.
We believe in this four-part model of Thriving: Self, Relationships, Community, and Environment.
Self
Thriving at the individual level is about being the full and best expression of yourself. We help patients Thrive as individuals by encouraging you to:
know and care for yourself fully;
practice self-awareness and presence;
communicate your needs;
create and maintain respectful boundaries; and
embrace your health autonomy by taking an active role in your healing.
Community
Our relationships go beyond individuals and expand to our larger community. At Thrive Naturopathic, we recognize our responsibility to create a Thriving community, as entrepreneurs who are creating good jobs and providing services our community needs. We also know that the caring in our clinic—among our staff and the inter-patient community that comes with like-minded people pursuing their goals—expands far beyond our doors.
Relationships
We cannot Thrive in isolation; human beings require connection and relationships. We strive to be in right relationship with others in all areas of our practice (doctor/patient, coworkers) and for our patients to be in right relationship with others. A Thriving relationship involves:
communication;
honesty;
integrity;
directness; and
honour.
Environment
For us to help people become thriving individuals, in right relationship as part of a strong community, we need a healthy environment. We focus on Thriving in our environment by creating healthy physical spaces in our clinic—spaces that are welcoming, clean, open, and relaxing—and choosing products that respect our environment and our bodies.
